Marketing Strategy For Lululemon Athletica Inc. - 1523 Words

When examining Lululemon Athletica Inc., there was more to the critical issues than addressing them. There was also the necessity to go beyond this and provide key alternatives that lululemon should consider in order to tackle these issues. Issues related to marketing, market structure for both consumers and products, quality control/supply chain, and major markets are difficult to change, but our group is confident in the alternatives we have identified and believe they can serve as a tool for Lululemon Athletica Inc. to grow and expand in the industry. Marketing Strategy It is important for Lululemon Athletica Inc. to improve the marketing strategy for the company. It is apparent that the current strategy is to use word-of-mouth and work within local communities is not working. Being unable to reach the important customers outside of the community is a failure to lululemon, and leaving segments of the market unable to be able to recognize the company’s high quality products. It is important for them to address this issue to ensure larger market recognition. Options for new marketing techniques that could help lululemon would include advertising campaigns via Internet and cable outlets, as well as billboards in highly populated areas. Being able to hit areas outside the communities reach can help drive sales and give potential consumers an understanding of what the company has to offer.
